So after dinner last night we went out to a very cool bar! The fact that we were the oldest people there by 25 years didn't deter us :) And we were treated quite kindly. Instead of a glass of wine which would be typical for us for after dinner sipping, I decided I want a real cocktail. So we ordered one each of these.
Paloma Ahumada: An updated, smoked out version of the classic Mexican Paloma. Reposado Tequila, Mezcal, Fresh Lime, Fresh Grapefruit, Honey, Mole Bitters, House Mesquite Smoked Salt, Served Over
Bread and Wine: Charles Joly of The Drawing Room in Chicago won a contest held by The Secret Sherry Society with this cocktail. A favorite among the Chapel staff. Oloroso Sherry, Single Malt Scotch, Absinthe, Maple Syrup, Fresh Lemon, Served Over
So I have the list of ingredients but not a clue about the ratios. Any suggestions would be welcome. Both of these were great and I want them without paying $9 for them :) TIA.
