I'm not sure how to say exactly what I'm looking for, but I used to buy some pickles when I lived in L.A. They were called Bubbies or Buba's - can't remember. Anyway, they were wonderful. I'd like to make something similar to that. I don't believe these were "pickled" the normal way - by hot water bath, etc.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? These pickles were very crisp, very bright green and very yummy.
Any help would be appreciated.
