Need a Rec for South Bay

We've done BBQ for years for Father's Day. This year, we are looking to go out. I am looking for a restaurant in the South Bay area, the closer to Redondo Beach the better, in the $10-$20 per person price range.

Looking for Thai/Pac Rim type places. My Mom is Italian, so there are very few Italian places we go to that "isn't better than Mom's" :-) But, if there is a place nearby with outstanding Cioppino we may go there (Dad's fav dish).

Places we've been to:
Parents go to Thai Dishes (now Thai Cook) on Artesia all the time.

Rice Things (Artesia)

Akbar Cuisine of India (Aviation)

Emerald Garden - Artesia - yuk!

El Pollo Inka - Aviation

Been to a bunch of the places in front of the HB pier, but if anybody wants to recommend any of those, go ahead, haven't been there in years.

Cheesecake Factory (more for atmosphere for out of town guests than houndworthy food) - a bit more expensive than what we are looking for too.

Phuket Thai PCH

That is the majority of places we've been to. Looking for something new and still houndish.

What is the cuisine/price of Mimi's Cafe? Been eyeing that for a while, but maybe not for Father's day.

Thank's in advance!
