Real Italian pizza/Antica pizzeria?

I was recently thumbing through a Japanese cooking magazine and stumbled across some gorgeous photos of Italian pizzas served at various restaurants in Japan. The photos inspired a hardcore craving for a simple, authentic Italian pizza.

One detail I noticed was a Vera Pizza certificate that several of the restaurants displayed. While I was almost ready to pay airfare for a trip to Tokyo (for Italian pizza? go figure), I did a little web research and came across the website for Verace Pizza Napoletana Assoc. This is an organization that certifies restaurants that serve a properly prepared authentic Neapolitan pizza (criteria for certification appear to be the oven, ingredients, prepartion and some training, etc.). Surprisingly, only 10 restaurants in the U.S. were certified (only 1 in L.A.) compared to 9 in Japan.

The only L.A.-area Vera Pizza-certified restaurant is Antica Pizzeria, which is in Marina Del Rey. I looked for previous posts on this place, but all I found was one lamenting the replacement of their 3rd St. location with AOC. I'm definitely going to try this place myself, but I'm curious to see what others who have tried it think. Any opinions? Any other good options for genuine Italian pizza?
