I just saw a show on the food network about a chuckwagon cook-off in New Mexico !
It was awesome !
It got me to thinking......are there any in or near Tucson?
The chow looked FANTASTIC !
Simple cowboy food ....chicken fried steaks...etc but done like back in the day with NO electric or running water......
Those boys made everything from cowboy coffee to apricot cobbler....YUM !....
Just using a pit fire and a kettle.
This is something I would LOVE to sample......
Can anyone help?
