Rank and Rate 'em -- Bandera, Houstons, Gulfstream

The first time I went to one of the restaurant in this chain was the Bandera in Scottsdale, AZ. We stumbled on it on a biz trip and it became an instant favorite. Went to a Houstons for 2 years before I realized the restaurants were related.

"Love" the grilled artichoke and beef dip at Bandera. Also like the rotissere chicken. All memorable. Been to Scottsdale, West LA and Corona del Mar loactions. Love the beef ribs at the CDM location.

"Really like" most of the items on Houstons menu. Been to the ones in Manhattan Beach and Pasadena.

"Love" the beef ribs at Gulfstream. I found the one in Newport Beach better than in Century City.

If you've been to all three how would you rank them? My favorite is Bandera. Heck the WLA one was in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiam.

For me these are the Trader Joe's of mid priced dining and I love them all.
