Rang Indian Bistro-Stoneham review

Friends and I went to Rang in Stoneham square yesterday with two pups for lunch. One DC is from Sri Lanka and knows her stuff. Overall opinion-this place was delicious!!! They were completely vacant during lunch hour, however they have only been open for 3-4 weeks now, the owner said. Decor is pretty, beautiful glass lanterns and a really soothing atmosphere.
Food-Gao shrimp curry-heavy on cream but very delicious, shrimp do piazza-tomato,pepper, onion base-excellent and baingan bharta-roasted eggplant...yum. We ordered a bread basket which I thought was a great idea as another DC had never had Indian breads. Nan, garlic nan and poori were in the small basket. By mistake I ordered a second order of parantha (meant to get poori for the pups) and it was great. Food was flavorful, not heavy on the oil and fresh, the shrimp were large and firm. Oh and my lime pickle were good too!!!
Hope the word continues to spread about this place, the owner said they would be having a buffet at lunchtime soon...cannot wait!!!

(Aren't you guys impressed? I actually have the names of the dishes?(cheated with a takeout menu!!) ;)
