Had dinner there last night and will definitely add it to my list of theater restaurants when in the mood for sushi.
We had the deluxe sashimi combo which included tuna, white tuna, salmon, yellowtail, raw shrimp, whitewhish, monkfish something (I couldn't understand the waitress who did not speak english very well) (tasted like a pate)[none of us liked it].
Maki maki roll consisted of shrimp tempura, eel, avocado, roe and salmon. Liked this combo very much except that they used lox, not salmon. Also had the yellowtail roll. Sushi was fresh, pieces were on the small side, but on the whole very good.
For dessert, we had the fried ice cream and asian pear at the request of my friends. Fried ice cream was with vanilla ice cream and had a oil taste to it that I disliked. Other places must use fresher oil because I usually don't taste the oil just the pound cake. Lots of chocolate sauce on the cake and plate. Asian pear was topped with honey and sesame seeds which ruin the natural fruit taste for me.
They are having a special dinner promo, one free roll with a check over $20.00.
Thanks CW for the recommendation, it was a good place to go for pre-theater. However, service was slow, so thankfully, we budgeted 2 hours for dinner otherwise, we would have been rushed. There were only a few tables, so I am unsure as to why it was so slow.
