What are good places where you can park and get to the restaurant without going outside, so you can stay dry and wait until the sun comes back out and you can start working on your tan again?

This post is guaranteed to draw deserved mockery from our hardier friends east of the Sierras, who are suffering through a really hard winter. But we Angelenos don't even know how to drive in the rain, and a lot of people out here don't own raincoats, so wet days like yesterday can be grody to the max, like, totally!

While this sounds utterly trivial in a world with impending threats of biological warfare, if you have a little kid in a stroller, for example, or if you happen to have other mobility issues, staying dry might actually matter a little bit.

So, admitting this is not the biggest crisis ever to come down the pike, I thought it would be nice to have a list. On the west side, I can think of just a few: Mishima and Pho Bac Huynh on Wilshire, Sisley in the Westside Pavilion, the food court at Koreatown Galleria. Others?
