I wanted to ask for some help with a business lunch idea.
In early April, I will be visiting Chicago with some colleagues to see a client. The plan was to have lunch, and about 8 people are likely to attend in total.
I wanted to explore the concept of ditching the traditional business lunch format for something far, far more relaxed.
Here's the idea: Chicago-style Italian beef. Maybe hotdogs.
Is there any way, or any place, near my client's offices (W. Washington Street and N. Canal) where we could do the following:
a) Reserve, or convince the restaurant to set aside, a table for 8 people...don't care if it's picnic bench style
b) Eat great sandiwches and fries (client actually prefers a cheaper lunch...long story)
c) Do something unique for a change while still allowing us the space -- and decibel level -- to review some handouts and pitch materials.
Any thoughts? For instance, does Mr. Beef on Orleans have tables, or just the belly-up counters?
