questions about More Than Just Ice Cream, old and new

I had the good fortune to spend a week in Philadelphia and also the good luck to find some chowhoundable places.

I am a little confused, however, about More Than Just Ice Cream. Is it true that the original place by this name closed, then reopened on Locust and 12th? And that Two Sisters A La Mode opened in the space of the original MTJIC? Was the original More Than better than the new version?

I thought the new MTJIC was quite nice for some late, light fare. Grilled cheese with apples (I resisted the bacon), a decent red pepper soup, a simple salad. Just what this weary traveler needed.

The good karma of the original More Than seems to have lingered. I found Two Sisters A La Mode cozy, charming, with a nice, varied menu of basics. I guess i'm a sucker for those old Philadelphia houses...

Finally, i stopped in at Chaucer's Tabard Inn (20th and Lombard) for a pint, and pledged to return to try the food. The beer and atmosphere are perfect, and the eclectic menu seemed promising but i was a bit disappointed with the results. The "Nicaraguan empanadas" and the chicken satay were noble efforts, at least. Can anyone recommend something good here?
