i'm planning a first visit in san francisco with my wife this summer. I've been reading this chowhound for the last two months and i've come up with five questions for you guys.
1)I'm looking for a small plates restaurant with a nice affordable wine by the glass selection, the emphasis here is on the food (bocadillo's, Nectar, First crush ???)
2)A californian or new american place, under 100-125$ with a couple of glass of wine (my wife is pregnant that explain the emphasis on wine by the glass) Coco500, frisson, boulevard, 2223 ???)
3)a Vietnamese with dishes we can't taste in Quebec(maybe a place in tenderloin)
4) A hole in the wall, dim sum place in chinatown (Dol Ho?)
5) A can't not miss restaurant (everyone seem to rave about Aziza)
we'll be staying on Union square but i don't mind to go out of my way for a nice restaurant, Thanks for any advice, i'll write you a report on the place weLl choose.
