has anyone been to the new branch of quack's on the east side by Fiesta?
I'm looking for a good place to meet with a conversational french tutor, so it needs to be a place that's not always so packed you can't get a table. Wondering if there is a good amount of indoor seating, or outdoor as long as it's covered and there's a little breeze.
also, i suppose we need a place that's reasonably quiet in terms of music and ambient racket. Other conversations are ok (in fact it's nice to go to a place that's not just land-of-the-laptops, but where people actually talk to each other. one time, we went to JPs, and we were the only people talking in a room full of peoplewatching laptop toters. it was a little awkward with my lousy french.)
any reports on this the lay of the land over at this place?
I also heard it's only open on the weekends. is that still the case?
