Go to Pupatella!

The husband and I tried Pupatella a few days ago, and really loved it. He's an electrician, and often looks a mess when he's done work. This poses a challenge when we want to eat on the way home since we can't do much more than the Cosi/Panera/Chipotle circuit, and while reliable- not exactly fantastic places. No more! This is the closest I have come to the way Italians eat this type of food in Italy. Unassuming and quick, you place your order at the register, bus-your-own table and off you go. The difference is, you just ate a made-to-order delicious pizza or sandwich (or salad) made with very high quality ingredients, cooked perfectly, and very well priced. I ordered the prosciutto sandwich- and it was more than generous in both the size and amount of cheese and meat and tomatoes. I might have added basil- and will ask for the addition next time. They made the bread for the sandwich when I ordered it! The hubby got a sausage pizza. The crust is both super thin, and bendable! Hooray! The sausage was fantastic- not too hot, not too sweet. The beer and wine selection is surprisingly large. We recently tried Pizzeria Orso- and frankly, why do I need a hostess and a server when all I want is a good pizza and a glass of wine- and the pizza here is just as good, if not better. Check it out!
