Punta Dora?/Cuban Sandwiches/Fresh Chorizo

I've read much about Piccolo V. on the boards--anybody tried Punta Dora on Broadway? Seems to have the Istrian influence as well...
Also, re the previous thread about mustard and Cuban sandwiches: We tried the Cubans from Tropicana on Steinway--dismal all around, mustard included. Then we tried one from El Sitio under the tracks (36th Avenue) --much better meat, properly heated, garlicky, but again, mustard. Maybe this is catching on? Or an Astoria affliction?
Finally--my colleague discovered that the Mexican place on 36th Ave. at around 34th or 35th St. (sign just says Taqueria Carniceria) makes its own fresh chorizo--haven't managed to get it yet since it sells out quickly. But good to know.
