Well, I was fortunate to be in SF this weekend during the what was near hurricane-esque weather. However, dinner at The Public made it all worthwhile.
I began with the tuna poke:
This dish was simply delicious, probably the best that I have had outside of Hawaii. The presentation was on spot and I was salivating after the first bite.
Next came libations......heck, who can say no to that?
Midway through my drink, the main course came out......braised short ribs. Oh my goodness was the dish delicious!! The sauce reduction was splendid and the meat fell off the bone......one bite and I was hooked. This dish is a definite must have if you dine at The Public.
The service was friendly and the vibe was outstanding....I will definitely be back next time I venture to the Bay Area.
