Just a quick shout out - had dinner at Mina on Tuesday night. Everything was as good or better than before, and we actually got our roti at an appropriate time.
Samosa chat, vegetable pakora, and pani puri were all spot on - perfect. In fact, the pani puri was the best I've ever had and the samosa chat was much more evenly "spiced" this time - decent number of hot peppers mixed into a uniformly sweetened yogurt. (Past times the sugar and chiles were sprinkled on top - not a big deal, but this made the dish even better.)
Entrees - palak paneer (for once a dish tasted the same two times in a row - simply the best I've ever had), chicken korma, fish dopiyaja (tilapia), and baigan achar.
Service was the usual slow and friendly, but it was also efficient - they might be getting the timing better. And the good news - it was fairly full! From about 7 on there was only one table empty and several take out and delivery orders... Perhaps the NY Mag article has saved this place? It is just so damn good!
