postrio for bar food

I'm always glad when I remember that the bar is a great way to have Postrio food at not a great price.
Went there Saturday night, about 7:30, it was easy to snag a table (unlike the early days when the place was jam packed) and order wine and a few dishes for a light meal.
We started with the beet salad, lots of chunks of golden beets with a nice vinaigrette and feta cheese.
We ordered a four-cheese pizza and the sausages. The sausages included three full-sized ones, duck, pork and lamb, each in its own sauce or chutney. They were really good and only about $11.
I think you get the restaurant menu for desserts. We had a pear tart with cardomam ice cream that was delicious.
It's a good bet for pre-theater or a late night stop. I always feel like the food is top-notch and reasonably priced. Our wine, I believe, was less than $40 for the bottle.
