Post-MFA dinner recs (for picky people)--help

Our picky requirements:
Son (eats burgers, pizza, plain meat--will eat lamb)
MIL (doesn't eat spicy things or dairy)
Husband (wants inexpensive because he is paying, but is a foodie and will eat anything)
FIL (never complains about anything)
Me (just want a good, interesting meal with no complaints from others)
Daughter (the more exotic the food, the better)

I was really hoping just to stop at Brookline Family Restaurant on the way home (love their food and pastries, and DS can get a burger there), but my MIL thinks it's too spicy.

We live in the western burbs but don't mind heading farther back into Boston if the food is worth it.
