possibly late dinner near Novotel on a Sunday

Hi, We are taking the train from NYC to Montreal on a Sunday. It is supposed to arrive before 7PM but you never know with trains! We are staying at the Novotel near the train station. We wonder if anyone has a good suggestion on where to have dinner, which we may not get to until 9 or even 10 o'clock. We don't necessarily need or want French food as we will be in Canada several days and can have a better meal at our leisure; but we do like ethnic foods such as Asian, Portuguese, Latin American, and eastern European. We would rather something moderately priced, not real expensive. I seem to recall a Polish restaurant we ate in once and really liked in Montreal; is that open Sundays? Other suggestions also welcome; I know that a lot of places are closed on Sundays.

Note that we are willing to walk fairly far or perhaps take a taxi or the Metro if our train is not super late; however, if it is late and we are tired, we probably want to eat nearer the hotel.

Thanks!
