I just went to lunch at this new taqueria across the street from the Rebuilding Center on Mississippi. I was very impressed. It is pretty real deal Mexican. They have no burritoes/enchiladas which was my first clue it was real. Their menu is small but well executed. They only do taco's/ceviche/tamales. Their beef tamale was the best i have had outside of Oaxaca. I told the owner that and he informed me that the chef trained in Oaxaca. The shrimp taco was also flavored very well with shredded cabbage and mango. We also had the guacomole and house made chips which were excellent. All of the tortillas are made on the premises and they are very fresh. It is not as cheap as say La Bonita/Iguana Feliz but I think the quality is superior. IMO it is a better deal than Taqueria Nueve/DF by far!
