A group of us ate at Rabia's last night and I was very pleasantly surprised. The ceaser salad was delicious and garlicky although the dressing could have been slightly thinner. A minor complaint though - the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the croutons added the right balance. I had the shrimp and clams marinara and it was delicious. Again, it was very garlicky and the sauce was the perfect consistency (not too thick and not watery at all, which is often a problem at these type of restaurants), the shellfish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the pasta was al dente and a great match for the sauce. My husband ate the carbonara and thought it was a delicious rendition. Another diner had the lobster ravioli that were also quite good and served in a crab and lobster sauce. They were very rich. All in, the food was really quite good for a standard red sauce place - it very much beat my expectations and the prices were reasonable. We also enjoyed several bottles of Raymond Chardonnay, which were in the mid 20s range. The service was spotty, the bread blah, and the music has to go (way too loud and random - it doesn't add to the atmosphere) but all in I would recommend Rabia's for those looking for more standard Italian fare.
