Plateau-- Southeast Asian Food in Stamford

I recently had lunch at Plateau, a new (I think it's new) Southeast Asian restaurant in Stamford. It was so good that I went back again a few days later. Lunch specials are very reasonable (around $7-11) and include a soup of the day, which was different both times I went, but equally tasty. The food seems to run the gamut between more traditional dishes such as pad thai and fried rice, to some more unusual ones for this area. I had the chicken curry one day, which was just generous slices of chicken and potatoes, in a rich red curry sauce. I asked for it spicy and it was... very hot, but not "burn the roof of your mouth off" hot. Still had a great taste. The second time I had a beef with a malaysian sauce. Also excellent. They had a nice wine list and the service was gracious too. The dinner menu looks interesting and reasonably priced too, and I plan to try dinner there soon.
