I'll travel anywhere for good pizza.
Probably about 10 years ago, a friend of mine moved back to the Black Hills from where he was working in the tourist industry in Jackson Hole. We decided one summer to go back to Jackson and hike and basically just bum around for a week.
While we were there, we stumbled onto a pizzeria (he told me that at the time, it was popular with tourism workers who lived there) that I'm guessing has gone out of business called "Mile High Pizza."
It was great and featured unusual pizzas, not the standard fare. In fact, one of their pizzas was so GOOD I've copied it and make it all the time: black beans, red onions and fresh corn over homemade BBQ sauce cooked on a charcoal grill. The cheese was good quality, and it was fantastic.
Just wondering, what happened to the place?
