Would love to get peoples thoughts on my reviews as well as up to date info on new restaurants, news etc...
Lots of folks have asked about pville and offerings, here is my take (live within 3 min walking distance to Bridget St - eat out there 3 - 5x per month)
Iron Hill - Great Service, Good Beers, Above Average Food. EXCELLENT Chilli. Each Iron Hill manages their own chilli and this one has a gem. Changes almost weekly. They'll even give you the receipe.
Molly Ms: Only been there 2x - ok food, over priced beer. Essentially a Kildare's restaurant. No good TV viewing = bad for sunday football
Empty Building across from Iron Hill - Here its going to be a Baxters????
Colombia B&G: My fav place to. Bar Menu is great. Food is always excellent. Service is a bit slow, but usually b/c its busy. I've always eaten in the bar.
That new Henry's Bar (where Jesters used to be): pretty good, never eaten. cheap beer - HUGE upstairs and a bit choppy. Only been once
Majolica - Awesome BYOB. Seasonal Menu but have yet to see it change. Great Service. Great Food and Great Value. Definitely fine dining but I've gone in w/ a 6 pack of bud lights and crummie clothes and felt like I was treated like a VIP
Black Lab: Very polarizing place for me. Really good food, but definitely over price. Cap that off w/ the poor service i've gotten and I dont think its worth it. however, they have a burget that is to die for..but it costs $12. My overall assumptive opinion is that this place has a great chef, and menu but lacks proper management. I'll go back but will always be pesimistic about price and service.
Le Crepe - never been. Everything is crepes. Pizza crepes, jelly crepes. Not a crepe guy so I have yet to go
Nudy's - AWESOME breakfast and lunch place, numerous locales throughout the main line/chester county
BBQ Guy - had it once and it was great. Beans were a bit chared in taste
Please contribute your thoughts or other good places to eat in PVille!!!
