I lived in San Clemente in the late 70's and my whole family still talks about Mr. Pete's fried zucchini. Nice long sticks (not the round things you sometimes get when their cut the "wrong" way). A lot of corn meal was used. filled a big bad for not much money. I think Mr. Pete's is still in SC, but it sure must be under different ownership by now.
Does anybody know if Mr. Pete's fried zucchini is still as good as I remember? OR where I can find something like it? No limitation on location.
Other Chowhounds have said Farmer Brothers is good for fried zucchini.
I'm making my mouth water so I'll stop.
