Hello! I've decided to jump in with a question/opinion survey for the first time. I'm on a quest for the best chocolate croissant or more appropriately--Chocolatine, the classic pain au chocolat. So far Citizen Cake (Grove & Octavia in Hayes Valley) is winning...the trick is the Schrafenberger chocolate with the right amount of butter without being to greasy and flaky brown....mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Any other spots I should check out? Thanks!
