Peking Kitchen in Quincy -- Warning

David | Jan 24, 2005 07:06 PM

too much snow and too cold to drive back into town for dinner, so we decided to try out this new Chinese restaurant, Peking Kitchen in Quincy. we have driven by it while it was under renovation. BAD decision. we ordered a beef chow fun and a peking pork dish. the peking pork was dry and tasteless. the chow fun was very bland tasting and oily. the amount of beef was decent, but something is wrong when the noodles all stick together. i feel like bringing both dishes back and demand to have the owner/manager taste them, but my wife prevails in the debate.
well, it's tough to judge a new eatery based on 2 dishes, however, both dishes we ordered (and ended up throwing out) were very ordinary chinese dishes, and especially from a restaurant named Peking Kitchen, we expected a edible Peking Pork. We will definitely not return again. The food was inedible. i guess we took one for the team.
