We went for the first time tonight based on an earlier thread. It is certainly much, much nicer atmospherically than Shangri-la, but we were somewhat disappointed in the food.

For the most part we ordered off the "Chinese Menu".

Wontons in spicy sesame sauce were lukewarm and not very spicy.

Tea smoked duck leg (cold) was good but nothing special.

Seaweed salad was interesting. Extraordinarily long, dark brown strands rather than the translucent green ones you find in sushi restaurants, with an enormous quantity of minced garlic sprinkled on top.

Spicy Pork Kidney was good but could have been spicier.

Pan fried vegetable ravioli were poor. Huge, mushy and not very hot.

Overall, better than average Chinese in nice surroundings but we'll stick with Shangri-la for food.
