Last night, a group of us got together at Peach Farm Seafood in Chinatown. I was the last to arrive and saw a bowl of wasabi on the table. that means 1 thing..geoduck sashimi..thin slices of the giant clam, sliced thin and served over ice with some cilantro on top. I love this dish but it's really something that's best shared with a large group. There's just lots of it. This was the opening salvo in a grand feast; followed by the fried heads (tails?) of the clam, eel, soft shell crabs, squid, bass, oysters, chicken, and greens.
A great time, and thanks to Helen for organizing this.
