Went to this BYOB in Spring Lake to research for a special dinner we are having for my son next month. The food was out of this world good. I felt like I was in Manhattan or Philly. We started with the burratta plate which was tremendous. I had the Fish stew Scampi style which was mussels, clams, cod the works and all seasoned to perfection.
My wife had the fresh pasta and meatballs which may have been the best I have ever tasted. I am a meatball guy, and those were incredible.
The chef worked for Mario Batali in Manhattan and you could taste the Batali influences.
We booked their private party room for the event before we paid the check. The bill was reasonable for the quality and service. It is such a pleasure to find a top flight place down the shore to go to.
