I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Parkside Grill in Portola Valley: baked salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, and vegetables adorned with a chardonney sauce. The flavors complemented eachother perfectly. Nothing too loud or subtle.
The portion was generous and appropriate.
The menu was relatively simple. Many grilled items with several complements, rather than 8 complements with descriptions qualifying as short stories.
A vanilla creme brulee dessert was perfect.
The meat and fish entrees were in the $18-20 range.
