Park Slope's Changing Landscape

Mike R. | Jan 3, 2012 08:54 AM

A quick drive down Seventh Avenue reveals that, in addition to the Grecian Corner, now BARRIO, SETTE, CHILIES & CHOCOLATE and UNCLE MO's have all closed up shop.

With recent space invaders such as the Cheeb-Cheeb and Dunkin' Donuts taking hold, is it safe to assume that Park Slope (at least Seventh Avenue) is finally opening itself up to the chains?

I realize there are other recent entries like Faros and Okeanos (wonder how they're doing?) and the grand opening of TALDE is imminent. The signals are mixed.
