Park Kitchen, again

We took my brother, a Toronto foodie, for dinner Saturday and "hoovered" through the menu. Where to start?
The sole off-notes were lukewarm soup (sent back)and bread ordered along with everything else, but that arrived very late and took a reminder. (The waiter was suitably horrified with himself. He was otherwise splendid, especially impressive on a really busy Saturday.)
My husband & I shared six small plates: Flank steak, roasted beets w/watermelon, anchovies, duck confit, tuna poached in olive oil & squid/octopus pasta. Michael couldn't resist the soup (I can't recall what it was; corn? Really tasty) and the Berkshire pork large plate.
Of course we all nibbled each other's stuff though I passed on the pork. Brother assured me it was exceptional.
Michael & his wife (unfortunately not here or we would have ordered more! more!) are major consumers of excellent food. He was knocked out by the quality, variety -- and the check. Before alcohol/tip, all of the above amounted to under $90. He couldn't believe it.
(I should add that we had stopped by Pix earlier in the day to pick up desserts to have at home.)
