Paragary's Sacramento

Well, I had my fabulous lunch in Sacramento and it really was wonderful. Maybe Paragary's is derivative, but the patio is wonderful (big trees and fountains!), the service is friendly and the food ranged from plain delicious to memorable.

My friend was waiting with her beer, but I opted for the mojito...it was absolutely ambrosial and perfect for the balmy afternoon (she joined me in one for round 2 after having a taste.) We split the grilled portobello mushroom with polenta and shaved parmesan...can you say divine? I admit we were a little pedestrian for lunch. She had the pepperoni and mushroom pizza (I had a sliver and it was everything a pizza should be). I had the grilled asparagus and red pepper with goat cheese sandwich. Perfect! We were too full for dessert.

Thanks so much for everyone's suggestions. Geez, I love Sacramento. I will be back mid-August for a meeting -- lucky me!
Helen
