Pakistani place in Salisbury, MD

If anybody gets a craving for good Indian/Pakistani while on the Delmarva Peninsula, believe it or not, there's actually a place in Salisbury. I grew up there, and I can't believe it myself. It's pretty good, too. Not fantastic (I live in the NYC area now and I'm spoiled by great places like Curry Leaf and Madras Mahal), but good.

It's called Kabob Grill and it's catty-corner from the hospital (Peninsula Regional Medical Center). I think the street is Carroll St. It's just off Business Rt. 13.

It's a small, informal lunch/takeout type joint, so I wouldn't recommend it for dinner unless you're OK with very little atmosphere.

Call ahead and they'll have your food ready. They used to do a steam-table type arrangement but from what I've heard, they now make it fresh. Tastes better, although that certainly takes longer.

If you're in the area, and you like South Asian cuisine, please support this place. It doesn't seem to be getting a whole heckuva lot of business (gee, not a surprise given most Salisburians' total LACK of TASTE... sorry, I have issues with my original hometown). My parents still live there and they'll go bonkers if it closes.

Only about 30 mi. west of Ocean City MD.
