Oysters for newbies ...

Looking for suggestion for places to bring an oyster newby to for her to try some;
Plateau-mile-end-ish

Usually, I just get some and chuck them one by one in front of the TV, making a big mess, but I don't think that'll work, in case she does not like them, I don't want to cook other things.

I've got a few places :
Maestro (just because they have a larger (?) selection; but the locale and decore might not be "fun" enough.
Icehouse; simple and other food selection, not too pricy. no reservation, weather might not be nice enough to sit outside.
Lawrence, more substential food substitution, more pricy.
Magpie (I think they do oyster): simple and fun.
Lemeac (have they started doing oyster yet?) more pricy, swanky-er.

Other suggestions ? maybe more north (villeray, ... ) I'm certain I'm missing a few ...

Thanks.
