Headed to Charleston over New Year's to catch a show at the Music Farm, staying at Indigo Inn on Ann Street. Looking for some great casual, fun spots in downtown/historic district with excellent seafood. We went to Pearlz last time we were in town and enjoyed it. I'm wondering how it compares to Amen Street, which looks like it may also fit the bill with what we are looking for. Basically just a fun bar-type atmosphere with better than average food...good bloody marys a plus! We're thinking of trying Hominy Grill for brunch on Saturday the 1st (provided they are open) and I'm also wondering what to anticipate in terms of wait time. Thanks in advance!
