Took a french friend to Anisette for drinks last week. We started with Kir's in the bar and moved upstairs for dinner. Both our servers were friendly, helpful and efficient.
We had a bottle of the Sancerre and 2 dozen assorted Oysters to start. The oysters were fresh and served with the traditional migonette. Could have eaten another dozen! I had the goat cheese and beet salad, my friend the frisee. Both salads were a nice size, fresh and nicely dressed. The waiter was great and offered us comp dessert as I found a olive pit in the bread and a tiny tiny creepy crawly on my plate from the oysters. The apple tarte tatin was amazing.
Anisette has redeemed itself from my first somewhat disappointing meal a few months ago.
