Something I've noticed.
When I get an oyster po-boy from a resturant take out....like Acme Oyster house....I notice the bread is a denser french bread than a po-boy sandwich should be.
They don't seem to use po-boy bread.....they use a denser bread, like the kind a resturant would set out on the table for meals.
I don't care for the sandwiches made like this.
Problem is.....Acme's oysters are GREAT !....so I deal with the bread.
Does anyone have a favorite oyster po-boy where the oysters are fat and tasty and the sandwich is made on the proper bread ???
