5 of us had dinner at Oxford Street last Saturday night. I thought the dining room was very well appointed. Love the cool blues and greens. The bar look spacious.
Food reviews were mixed. The raves were the appetizers of short rib dumplings and mini-wursts (there was an actual battle over the last one), the basil-lime martini and one entree, the wiener schnitzel. Also two desserts - the butterscotch creme brulee and cherry upside down cake.
The diappointments were mostly with the entrees. The tapaka chicken was "dull", the rib eye steak "ok, not great" and the paprika spice seared bass "no spice and overdone".
It was a good evening and I would go back again, but may stick with appetizers and drinks vs. dinner.
