just had a yummy dinner at Orsay (75th & Lex.)
We started with the chilled seafood...a huge two-tiered assortment of lobster, shrimp, mussels and scallop ceviche with three dipping sauces...pink mayonnaise, cocktail sauce and one other.
My dad got the steak frites. The pommes frites were out of this world.
My aunt ordered the rack of lamb with haricots verts.
Then I had the lemongrass bouillabaise. It was a delicious, coriander-accented seafood stew with chunks of salmon and snapper among the shellfish.
I finished things off with the souffle of the evening...a mint souffle with a side of creme anglaise and a pot de creme chocolat.
I have *got* to go on a diet tomorrow! :-)
