Oritalia Brunch (medium length)

Spouse and I had brunch at Oritalia in the Portland Westin on Sunday. Frankly, didn't know what to expect. Became a bit concerned on entering the place - rather empty. But it was visually striking, copper covering open kitchen area, muted colors and really funky chandeliers (sp?). The tables in the rear that have their own private curtains are not in use during brunch but frankly were not needed.

Food wise, spouse had the pecan crusted french toast which she enjoyed. A bit unusual as they used thick brioche rather than the normal wide bread. I had the canadian bacon benedict. Really good. Three slabs of THICK canadian bacon with poached eggs over english muffins and a ton of hollandaise (bypass required, but worth it) with a side of crisp potatoes. Suprisingly good. Service was stretched a bit thin - 2 servers for the room but they did their best.

Given the above, I'll try it for dinner (or lunch). Anyone else had any experience there for substantive meals?
