Ate at Oasis on Saturday and really enjoyed the feijoada (that day's special). I don't know enough about Brazilian to tell if this is a good example of same, but it was certainly tasty and abundant food at a very reasonable price ($8.99 for a vat of stew with sides that would have easily fed two).
Other folks in our party had variations on mixed grill plates. The meats looked a little dry to me but people seemed to enjoy them and everybody took home doggie bags. I think that would have happened even if we'd skipped the chicken hearts and fried yucca with bacon and sausage appetizers.
I think dessert is their biggest weakness but I'm not much of a flan or custard fan. The place was certainly busy on a Saturday with lots of folks of Brazilian descent, which looks like a good sign.
Anybody else tried this place? How does it rate for Brazilian fare compared to other places? I'm thinking of going back on a Tuesday to try the oxtail.
