Picture it, two curmudgeons, well one at least, ISO of dinner this coming Sunday in Westchester or nearby:
-- good service is a must;
-- no pretty little food piled high atop itself on an outsized plate;
-- price is not a factor;
-- really good food would be excellent;
-- cocktails served in large glasses;
-- ambience is not a must, but I am shooting for 'nice'.
With all that, I've narrowed it down to:
Old Drover's Inn; Willett House; Xavier's; Inn at Pound Ridge; Le Chateau; The Arch; or, if dinner fails me, brunch at MacMenamin's.
Thank you all in advance.
