The wife and I had a wonderful lunch yesterday in Madison GA (30 min south of Athens, 1 hr east of Atlanta) and just wanted to share with the board.
It appears that the menu changes slightly daily, but I started with a wonderful, rich, creamy bowl of she crab soup. I then had the omelette of the day, which was filled with ham, spinach & smoked gouda cheese. It was great. My wife had the PEI Mussels, which were great as well. Served with a ciabatta-style bread, there had to have been 15 or more mussels in the bowl (and it was on the appetizer menu,) and had a great white wine sauce filled with andouille and sweet corn. Delicious.
They also have fresh seafood and steaks in a case in the front, like a meat market.
Overall, it was a very good experience, and we will certainly return.
