Ogden eateries revisited!

Hi to all, especially Rooney and the Groovin' Gourment!
We are back from our business trip to Ogden, and I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed your recommendations! The first night we were there we ate at The Bistro. I had lemon chicken and it was fine. It wasn't great, but good. The salads and sides were the best part. The atmosphere was fun and everyone was very friendly. The second night we made the trip to Maddox, and we are very glad we did! Their Wednesday night special was fried chicken and we all got that. It was wonderful! The yeast rolls were scrumptious and the fresh strawberry ice cream was to die for! The third night we went to The Timbermine (which was a place someone in town suggested) which was up the canyon a bit. It was a beautiful drive, but the food wasn't all that great. I had steak and it was fine. I thought the menu was a bit limited. We had a lunch at Roosters and that was good too. I even tried the Polygamy Pale Ale (which I thought was too hoppy!). All in all, you both did a great job of steering me in the right direction.....esdpecially Maddox. I don't think we would have found that one without you!
Thanks again for your help,
Jan
