Good article (good meaning it is a good read) outlining the challenges that lay ahead for the dining scene in Las Vegas. I will not discuss any restaurants in particular but I will point out one fact that I found surprising...The average cost per person for dinner @ Alex is $320!!!!!

Now I know that there are places more expensive (Guy Savoy, Joel Robuchon, Bar Charlie...and all places are now offering "recession" deals) but I can't recall Alex being mentioned in that price category. There are numerous posts about it being in the mid to lower $100's range.
