Best NYC chinese

Mr. Taster | Dec 17, 2004 05:34 PM

I grew up in New Jersey on the delicious (but incredibly inauthentic) New York style chinese food. Now I live in LA, which is the american gateway to the pacific rim, with more fresh hong kong style seafood houses, dim sum, and incredibly specialized regional Chinese cooking styles than I could ever count (or hope to pronounce).

So now that I'm coming back east to visit my sister in NYC/Brooklyn/Park Slope for a couple of days, I want to know what you feel is the best New York Style, totally inauthentic chinese food. (along the lines of wo hop, for example, though I'm open to unusual or creative suggestions!)

Thanks Hounds!
