Has everyone seen the enthusiastic weekend piece in the NY Times?
I'll be in town for the next few days and looking forward to dinners at Brunoise, Yoyo, Toqué, and Auberge Le Saint-Gabriel. I'm planning on uncorking a 1955 Chambolle Musigny (Reserve du Patron) at Yoyo. If my gut can take it, I'd like to revisit Au Pied de Cochon and Schwartz's Hebrew Deli for lunch.
There are 16 of us, mostly from the US. But one of our members is a violist in the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa (he will perform a piece by a Canadian composer) and another was in bygone days "communications czar" for PET (he will tell us what the federal election adds up to).
The Montrealer I would most like to meet is Stéphane Dion. Any suggestions?
